We'll kick things off with a 60-minute Zoom meeting where we:
- Define your goals for the site
- Review any features and functionalities you'd like to include
- Go over your existing content—written copy, images, branding—and identify what you still need to prepare before Design Day
- Discuss any inspiration, examples, or other other considerations
After our Onboarding Meeting, you'll receive a customized checklist of items to prepare for Design Day. You’ll also get access to a Google Drive folder to upload all necessary content. Once that’s done, I’ll send you a contract, and your first payment will be due. From there, we’ll schedule your Design Day!
9am to 5pm
Anne Marie gets to work! She'll design the first draft of your website. You don't need to be available during this time, but it's a good idea to keep an eye on your email in case any questions pop up.
9 am: Website Review Meeting
We’ll meet on Zoom to review the first draft together. You’ll have the opportunity to provide feedback.
10 am - 12pm: Final Touches
Anne Marie will incorporate your feedback and finish up your site.
12 pm: Final Walkthrough Meeting
We’ll meet on Zoom for a final walkthrough. Anne Marie will show you how to navigate the backend, make edits, and ensure you’re comfortable managing the site. After this meeting is over and your final payment is in, the site is all yours!
You'll be invoiced for 40% of the project total after our onboarding meeting. This is a down payment and it reserves a spot for you on my calendar.
60% of the project total is due upon final delivery of the website. Once the payment is in, the keys are yours!
A Squarespace account starts at $16/month.
Anne Marie worked with the school's admin team to conduct a comprehensive redesign of the school website and brand identity. The website’s design needed to serve and attract the school’s key constituent groups: current families, alumni, prospective families, and donors. Anne Marie led the copywriting process and curated all copy and photos for use on the site. She optimized the site for ease of use, captivating storytelling, and migrated the site from Wordpress to Webflow to make daily updates easier to execute.
Billy Libby, an independent producer, composer, and instrumentalist, approached Anne Marie to design a portfolio website that would offer clients and collaborators an overview of his work. Anne Marie established a unique visual language to unify the site’s content and added a narrative flow to organize his diverse array of projects. The website was built using Squarespace, a user-friendly tool that makes updating the site in the future easy.
It’s very normal to feel like you need to get everything under the sun ready before we start (write new copy, get your branding in order, make new content, the list is endless) but don’t overthink it. During our Onboarding Meeting, we’ll go over the things that you’ll want to prioritize to get the first edition of your website up and running.
Simply put: Squarespace is easy to use. When I pass you the keys, you’ll be able to confidently update the site as you grow. They have loads of useful functionalities, too, like email collection, appointment booking, ecommerce, SEO, and analytics. You'll be set up for long-term growth and success.
Yes! However, the end product that you receive is dependent on the work that you put into it as well. If you still have some messaging to finesse or content to write, then the final website that I deliver might have some placeholders for you to finish up by yourself. But I’ll set you up with a clear gameplan so that you can easily wrap things up.
No matter what, you’ll walk away with a buttoned up website at the end of those 24 hours. If you need additional services outside of this sprint, I’m here for those too — and that's one of the best parts of choosing to choosing to work with me to build your site: I’ll already be familiar with your brand, so jumping into a future project together will be a breeze.
Yes, I can help you achieve whatever functionality you have in mindn. But if you have a really ambitious idea in mind, this website sprint may only be the starting point for you—you may have a few to-do list items to address after I’m done/before you click publish. I’ll set you up with a clear gameplan so that you can grab the baton and cross that finish line.
Your old website will be a great place for us to start. During our intro call, we'll look at what you have and make a plan tailored to your situation.
We can make that work! Let’s talk through your scheduling needs during our onboarding meeting.
